Chapters Five and Six Summary
Marina closes her eyes and sees a girl with raven hair and striking gray eyes, dressed in black. She wakes just as their hands touch. Adelina helps Marina get ready for mass and she tells her about the dream. Marina is determined to make it to her cave after El Festin is complete. When prayers conclude, Marina goes from nave to kitchen before Sister Dora, who catches Marina smiling during mass, can catch up to her. She smiles when Hector comes up to greet her, and within half an hour a few hundred people have been served and it is time for the girls to eat.
