Chapter 19 - "You said you'd love me forever"
In this chapter, dated 2029, John and his long term girlfriend were having an argument. They'd been together, he wrote, for four years and Sonia wanted to know where the relationship was headed. In other words, she wanted to get married. John didn't see the point. 'Till death do you part' seemed a little old fashioned considering that they both had taken the cure. He told her that he was as committed to her as he was in the beginning, but he didn't know that he could commit to her for five hundred years, if they lived that long. She argued that the commitment was the same whether it was fifty years or five hundred years. They argued, then she blurted out that she was pregnant. He told her that he was not ready...
