Summary
Chapter Ten opens in a third person omniscient narration that describes a ship owned by the Federation of Mugen named the Emperor Ryohai and its journey around the Nariin Sea near the coast of Nikara. The second paragraph the third person narration shifts to focus on a new character, Cike commander Tyr, who has stowed aboard this ship under the orders of the Empress. Tyr had always followed her orders without question and while hiding on the ship, he recounts his experiences as an apprentice shaman within the Cike division. Tyr steps out of the dark and realizes that it is getting harder for him to return to the material world and that soon someone will take him to Chuluu Korikh once he has completely become a mindless vessel for his god.
