Sundew

Sundew is a LeafWing dragon who has the power of leafspeak, which allows her to communicate with plants and to manipulate them, making them grow in specific ways. She is part of the LeafWing group known as the PoisonWings, which is separate from the group led by Queen Sequoia. Sundew's mother is Belladonna, who is the leader of Sundew's group of LeafWings. Her father is Hemlock. Because she has leafspeak power, she is expected to marry Mandrake, another dragon with leafspeak in this tribe, in the hope their dragonets will have increased power. Sundew is not at all interested in that marriage, however, because she is in love with Willow, a dragon from Queen Sequoia's group.
