The Park

The park is where the May Mothers meet with their babies for the mommy group. They meet under a specific tree until their last meeting in the book when they have to move to a different tree. It is where Scarlett attends the May Mothers meetings with a porcelain doll in her stroller. During one of the meetings, the mothers decide to go out for a night and have an evening away from their children.

The Jolly Llama

The Jolly Llama is the bar that the May Mothers meet at the night that Midas is abducted. It is where Nell deletes the baby monitor app from Winnie’s phone in an effort to give Winnie a night off. It is where Winnie disappears as the other mothers cannot account for where Winnie is during the time that Midas is abducted.
