Summary
The twelfth chapter takes place on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. and is titled “Greer.” Greer gets an email from her editor, Enid Collins, telling Greer that she must entirely rewrite the manuscript she submitted in two weeks or face rejection. Greer has been with the same publishing house for decades. Enid has always been a fan of her work, and Greer has never had any problem getting her murder-mysteries published, so she is shocked by the news. She leaves her computer to go figure out the seating chart for the rehearsal dinner, but is distracted by the arrival of Featherleigh. Featherleigh is the younger sister of one of Tag’s close friends. After they ran into one another six years ago, Featherleigh began showing up at many of the same social events.
