Section 4: pages 24-33 Summary
When Percy wakes, Grover admits that the Minotaur was real and apologizes for allowing it to take Sally. He leads Percy to Mr. D and Chiron who explain that he is at Camp Half-Blood, a summer camp for children begat of a human and a Greek god. Mr. Brunner is actually Chiron, a centaur who is pleased with Percy's success against the Minotaur, and he offers Percy a guided tour of Camp Half-Blood. Chiron tells Percy that the Greek gods are real and a part of Western Civilization before introducing him to Annabeth who Percy recognizes from his dreams. Annabeth explains that she helped nurse Percy after his battle with the Minotaur, and she also explains that he did not kill the monster; he was only able to dispel it for now, but it will reform eventually.
