Flashback through chapter 6 Summary

The book begins with the chapter titled "Flashback." Allison Parker, a member of the United States Air Force, is in an aircraft piloted by Angus Quiller with Fred Torres as the crewman. Allison has been provided this trip as a reconnaissance mission. She has seen and recorded some unusual activity in a place called Livermore and knows that it will make a difference to Paul Hoehler.
