Summary

In Chapter 4, Lacey understood that God had plans for her and Amy. She had always sensed the voice of God but was not always sure what He was telling her. Lacey knew that Amy’s mother had abandoned her, she had found the note in Amy’s bag. When Lacey asked Amy if there was anything she wanted, Amy asked only for Peter, the rabbit out of her bag.

The police asked Lacey to keep Amy over the weekend in case her mother came back. She lied to the sisters and told them Amy was her friend’s daughter.
