Summary
In “Mimi,” the morning after the party, Mimi feels jittery even after smoking marijuana. She goes downstairs for her bike and remembers how she punched a hole in the tire of Ben’s Vespa so she could follow him when he went out.
Mimi watched as he met a beautiful woman in a restaurant. He gave her something that looked like a camera. Went they finished talking, they left in different directions. Mimi was relieved Ben was not being unfaithful to her.
In the present, Mimi pulls her bike out and heads out through the courtyard. She rides into the street intending to be hit by a car and die. Instead, Mimi is only injured. She is surprised when the concierge comes running to help her up. The concierge seems to be trying to tell Mimi something with her eyes, but...
