Summary

The next chapter is titled “Narrative of Gus Landor: 13” and dated November 3rd to November 6th. Landor and Poe discuss that they need the advice of devout Christians if they are to find out about Satanists on the West Point campus. They also set up a new way to leave messages for each other. Hitchcock is dismayed to discover Landor believes a cult is operating on the campus. Landor becomes annoyed at Hitchcock's skepticism. They create a new report for military officials.
