Point of View

The majority of the novel is written in the first person narration of different characters. In having so many different characters tell the story through their first person, the author is able to show the reader just how connected humans are even when they believe they are not. These narrations are distinctly their own but come together to create a larger picture that the reader is able to piece together. These characters do not know they are all destined to be connection but while moving through the novels, the readers learn this and it shows them the intricacy of human connection.
