Summary
Chapter 7 begins with a brief description of King Saul Boulevard, the Israeli intelligence headquarters in Tel Aviv. Gabriel returned to his office and learned the British Prime Minister, a man named Jonathan Lancaster, expressed concern over the allegations of Israeli involvement in Vienna. Yaakov Rossman, the Chief of Special Operations, met with Gabriel along with Rimona Stern, the head of collections, and Yossi Gavish, the chief analyst. Yaakov and Rimona intended to resign over the incident, but Gabriel refused and instead gave the team 72 hours to find the person who betrayed Kirov to the Russians. Gabriel then met with the Prime Minister in Jerusalem, who revealed that many other countries believed Israel to be guilty, including Austria, who was considering diplomatic sanctions. Gabriel reassured him that they would find the true culprit.
