Sadie Foust aka Camille aka Mouse
Sadie is the central narrator of the novel. She is Will’s wife and the mother of Otto and Tate. Sadie suffers with dissociative identity disorder. Her alter personalities are Camille and Mouse.
Sadie is a highly intelligent woman who works as a doctor. She is unaware that she suffers with dissociative identity disorder or that her husband is using her disorder to cruelly manipulate her. Sadie knows that she suffers from blackouts, periods of time for which she cannot account, but she does not think that these blackouts are anything to be concerned about.
