Summary

In “Sadie,” at the police department, Sadie tells Berg that she found a washcloth covered in what appeared to be blood. She adds she also found the knife used to kill Morgan in the backyard of her house. He sends another officer to the house to retrieve the objects she has described. She says she thinks either Otto or Imogen killed Morgan.

Berg tells Sadie that Will called a few minutes before Sadie arrived and had retracted his earlier statement about where Sadie was on the night that Morgan died. Will claims now that Sadie took the dogs for a walk and that they were gone for quite a long time. Sadie argues that Will’s new version is not true. She believes Will is trying to protect Imogen and Otto.
