Summary

At a coffee shop in Midtown called Rise & Grind, Shani sweeps the floors. She catches sight of a woman she recognizes there and takes a photograph of her, which she sends to her boss, Lynn, who confirms that the woman is someone named Eva.

Nella decides to go and speak to Richard Wagner about her mistake with Colin. As Nella approaches Richard’s office, she tries to summon confidence, but stops when she realizes Richard is on the phone. She overhears him speaking with who she thinks is the agent for one of his authors, Kenny Bridges, and puts together that Richard is involved romantically with this agent. Before Richard notices she is there, Nella runs back to her desk.
