Part Two, Pages 363-386 Summary
Sun Moon is restless the day before the Americans are expected to arrive. After the children are in bed, Ga and Sun Moon stand on the balcony together. They see a car driving to the house. She tells Ga that the only person who has really known her is coming in the car for her. The Dear Leader wants Sun Moon back. Ga feels as if he is being pulled apart.
He goes to Buc's house hoping to find the answers to some questions. He finds only Buc's wife who is sewing a white dress. Back at Sun Moon's house, he tries to tell the children the truth about their father, but doesn't want to hurt them, or go against their mother's wishes. As Ga tells them another story, the boy says that he wants to tell...
