Summary

When America gets to her room in Chapter 7, she sees Aspen. She tells him that they will talk soon and Aspen leaves. She wonders whether he thinks she wants to get back together with him as she has just pushed Maxon away. When she goes to the Women’s Room, she tries to figure out who the other girl is that the Northern rebels would not mind becoming Maxon’s wife. She decides that it is Elsie. The queen notices how the girls are ignoring each other and brings them together to show them how they value each other and remind them that they may need each other’s support at one time or another. America leaves and runs into Maxon. They have an argument centered around the uncertainty of what is going on and the way America shuts down. She pushes him...
