Summary
Coach lets Shea into the garage when she arrives at his house and she can tell that he is nervous. The conversation naturally turns to football and then the NCAA investigation and Shea shares Ryan's theory that all winners cheat at some point. Coach tells Shea that it had been Ryan's father who bought Cedric Washington the Cadillac so that Ryan would have a good receiver when playing as quarterback for Walker. Shea then wants to know how much the Coach knew about the deal and he tells her that he questioned Ryan and his father at the time and they denied knowing anything about the source of the car. Cedric had told the Coach that the car belonged to his uncle and that was the end of the story.
Coach changes the subject and asks Shea about the progress of her relationship...
