Crayons

Julia begins giving Ivan crayons and he uses them to draw. Sometimes he eats them.

Fingerpaints

Julia gives Ivan some fingerpaints. He uses these to make his painting of Ruby at the zoo.

Yogurt Covered Raisins

Both Stella and Ivan love yogurt covered raisins.

Claw-Stick

The claw-stick is a stick with a large hook on one end that is used by trainers to force elephants to obey commands. Mack uses one with Ruby.

Drawings

Mack sells Ivan's drawings in the store at the circus.

Ruby at the Zoo Drawing

Ivan draws a large drawing of Ruby at the zoo to try to get Julia to help him get Ruby somewhere safe, like the zoo. This drawing is placed on a billboard, causing a great deal of media coverage for the circus and eventually leading to intervention by the zoo for both Ruby and Ivan.
