Summary

In Chapter 31, Sylva reveals that Tarquin and Isadora had invited her to go to Corcillum, and she had foolishly thought she would be safe as long as she was with them. They ran as soon as there was trouble. Sylva says she does not like them, but she felt it was her job to befriend them as a step toward bridging the gap between humans and elves.
