In Chapter 51, Joe calls Vikki to tell her Declan and Evan know each other. Joe has discovered a couple of other calls between Declan and Evan, one just a few days after Tanya died. Vikki decides they will just move forward with the plan. Joe has a police officer with Declan in case he is willing to talk. Evan arrives. He has a carry-on bag that he keeps in the front seat with him. He talks about the need to get Maya home and settled into a routine.
