Summary

Chapter 12 opens in New York City in the past. Tanya was amazed at Evan's wealth and quickly began to take advantage of Letty, including drinking most of a bottle of expensive wine. Neither had talked talked to their mother recently. A short time later, Evan said Tanya was moving in with him. He points out his relationship with Letty had remained casual because there was no chemistry. Letty felt Evan was seeking permission to continue having sex with Tanya and was furious.
