Summary
Ganesh talks to Beharry about what type of book Ganesh should write. Ganesh says that he wants to write something educational, and Beharry suggests starting with something fairly simple, as Ganesh is more educated than the average Trinidadian. Beharry creates a timetable for Ganesh’s writing project, and Ganesh is able to complete the book in five weeks. Ganesh takes the completed manuscript to Basdeo’s printing shop in San Fernando and hires Basdeo to print it as a book. He then goes to Fourways to tell Leela that he wrote a book. He shows a copy of the book to Leela and Ramlogan, who are immediately thrilled. The book is an educational text about Hinduism and is entitled 101 Questions and Answers on the Hindu Religion.
