Summary

In Chapter 6, Molly and Stark survey the Grand Tearoom. Grimthorpe’s teacup lies in shards around his body, which two officers zip into a bodybag. Molly is not upset to see Grimthorpe dead. The officers note Grimthorpe’s swelling is consistent with organ failure or heart attack. Molly explains how Grimthorpe added honey, not sugar, to his tea before he spoke. The silver honey pot and spoon are missing from the tea cart.

Molly uses her master keycard to access Serena Sharpe’s room, but Serena has left and the room has been cleaned. Stark inspects the bagged trash and finds crumpled paper that says, “You are an angel. Regards, Your Chiefest Admirer.” Molly recognizes the handwriting, but she knows it is not Grimthorpe’s. Stark finds it suspicious that Serena fled right after her boss’s death.
