The empty car continues on as a diversion and the group walks toward the nearest city. After much discussion and some very intense moments, the end result is that the men have no real choice: their best option is to meet the Charlie's Master, King Peter. He at least is not dead-set on killing them and might be persuaded to allow contact with Lenin.
