When Warthrop admits he has known of the Anthropophagi for several days, Morgan accuses him of bringing the creatures to the area. Warthrop denies it, but Malachi, furious in his grief, attacks him after taking a guard's gun. He holds the gun to Warthrop's head, but does not pull the trigger.
