Female Empowerment
Melinda argues that female empowerment is the solution to many complex issues in the world. By lifting up women, one helps improve society as a whole.
Family planning is the foundation for female empowerment as a whole. The ability to choose if and when to have children not only improves lives of mothers, but of their families whenever they do choose to have them. Contraceptives are the most powerful and must underutilized life-savers.
