Summary

In Chapter 20, Bethany Kimbles-Erickson brought Cameron a book about the earthquake that caused the Quake Lake flooding, which Cameron was researching. Cameron imagined her parents at the lake. Lydia found cottage cheese containers under Cameron’s bed that Cameron had been decorating like her old dollhouse. Cameron also hid three Christmas lights from her house in the containers. Cameron felt hot during the conversation and began to take her sweater off, but Lydia yelled at her for doing so. Lydia instructed Cameron to throw out the containers and lights immediately.
