Summary

Part Three occurred in 1992 to 1993, during Cameron’s time at God’s Promise. In Chapter 13, Cameron met Jane Fonda, a student at God’s Promise Christian School & Center for Healing. Jane gave Cameron and Ruth a welcome tour. Cameron had barely spoken to Ruth in the six-hour car ride there. Ruth had postponed her wedding until Cameron got better. Before Cameron arrived at God’s Promise, Ruth made sure that someone was always watching Cameron. Grandma blamed Cameron for her sinful actions. Ruth told Lindsey that Cameron could no longer speak to her. Cameron said goodbye to Jamie. Back at God’s Promise, Cameron noted that Jane had a prosthetic leg.
