Summary

In Chapter 20, Max started spying on three burglars trying to steal the school’s new computers. There was Ralph, the ringleader with a green suit and a bad toupee; Moose, a big guy with spiked hair; and Tucker, a tall, skinny guy in a bandanna.

Mostly, the burglars talked about food, while Ralph tried to keep them focused on the job. Max’s alarm on his watch went off, and the three burglars spotted him. That was the cliffhanger for Chapter 20.

In Chapter 21, the burglars got distracted yet again. When Tucker and Moose asked if they could take a break to get something to eat before chasing the kid in the vents, Ralph rolled up a magazine and swatted them with it.

Unfortunately, it was not a magazine, but a comic book that Max had brought to the computer lab earlier...
