Summary

In Chapter VII, during a solo hunting expedition, Gore was confronted by a doorway of blue light. He raised his gun towards it.

In Chapter 7, the Ministry moved the narrator and Graham to a safe house. Graham told the narrator that he had been trying to court her but that he did not understand modern romantic relationships and could not tell what she needed or wanted from him. They had sex. Afterwards, the narrator felt the microchip on Graham’s back that had been implanted by the Ministry to keep track of his movements and decided that it wasn’t the right time to tell him about it.
