Part Three, The Midnight Club, Chapters 67-75 Summary
St.-Germain throws a party on his yacht, enjoying his newfound respectability. However, when the party is over, St.-Germain cannot resist falling back on some of his old habits and arranges for a woman to be raped and murdered in his state room. Across town, Sarah has just written a chapter for her new book and is now joining Stef for a meeting. The meeting consists of law enforcement officials they know they can trust to begin a campaign against St.-Germain and the Midnight Club, to bring them down once and for all. After the meeting, Stef apologizes to Sarah for leaving her in Pennsylvania and describes a failed romance soon after he recovered from his gunshot wounds that have caused him to be cautious about relationships now.
