Part One, The Grave Dancer, Chapters 7-12 Summary
Isiah Parker is working undercover at an Orange Julius stand in order to catch a couple of neighborhood drug dealers in action. Finally Isiah catches sight of the two drug dealers making a sale on a bridge overlooking the stand. Isiah jumps the counter and chases after to two boys. Isiah takes out one of the boys with a blow to the head, but has to race to catch up with the other. Isiah, an athlete in high school, has little trouble catching the second boy, taking him down among the uninterested citizens loitering in the street.
