Summary

In Chapter 27, when Iris tells Evan the developments with Corban, Evan warns her to be careful. He recognizes that Corban is a threat and asks her to stay somewhere else, even in his guest room, if she has nowhere else to go. While they are talking, Dave calls and tells Iris that the Seattle Police Department sent them the report they requested but he cannot make any sense of it. Evan agrees to look at it for them but only if Iris will allow him to see it at her house. Iris knows he has an ulterior motive, he wants to make sure the house is secure.
