Summary
In Chapter 15, Iris does not even want to get up out of bed the following morning, but Dave tells her they need to stay focused. She tells Dave the only thing she has come to understand about Will through what they have learned on their trip is why he wanted the expensive Victorian house in which they are living. She realizes it was a symbol of how far he had come in life. She wishes he had told her why he wanted the house so badly.
After breakfast, Iris and Dave first go to visit Will’s father who is in Providence House, a low-income nursing home suffering with Alzheimer's. They are more concerned with the way the nurses seem unconcerned about their patients and the filth in the place than they are with the fact that Lewis gives them no indication whether...
