Summary

Chapter 47

Bacchus reveals that he showed up because he got the tribute that Percy left earlier. He mocks the giants, saying that their performance was a sham. They are insulted, but Bacchus decides to show them how to really put on a show. He turns the area into a giant arena, setting the two giants up to battle against Percy and Jason. Percy seems annoyed that Bacchus won’t help, but he promises that if the two put on a good performance he will help them slay the giants. With little else to do, Jason and Percy once again prepare themselves to fight the powerful twins.
