Summary
Chapter 47
Bacchus reveals that he showed up because he got the tribute that Percy left earlier. He mocks the giants, saying that their performance was a sham. They are insulted, but Bacchus decides to show them how to really put on a show. He turns the area into a giant arena, setting the two giants up to battle against Percy and Jason. Percy seems annoyed that Bacchus won’t help, but he promises that if the two put on a good performance he will help them slay the giants. With little else to do, Jason and Percy once again prepare themselves to fight the powerful twins.
Chapter 48
Jason and Percy decide to work together against the giants. They combine their powers of wind and water to overwhelm the two giants, throwing them into the water and trapping them in a whirlpool. No matter...
