Summary

Chapter 29

Percy finds himself frustrated that he can’t do more to help his friends, especially since they are in the open sea which should be his territory. To make things worse, Annabeth is barely talking to him since she’s occupied with the Mark of Athena. Percy goes to sleep and ends up having another nightmare vision about the giant twins. In it, they are talking to an unknown lady about the trap that they have set with Nico. The mysterious lady reveals that she wants to kill Annabeth, but the giants tell her that Gaea wants Annabeth taken alive, along with Percy. The lady promises to do what she can to deliver the girl alive, but hints that she will be tormented first. The giants also mention how the group will have to get through someone known as the golden boy...
