Summary
In Chapter 9, Saul recalled that when he had asked Jennifer to marry him, he had been staring at her roommate Claudia, who had a tendency to wander around the flat naked. In the present day, Saul asked Jennifer why she was visiting him in hospital, and she replied that it was because he was the father of her son Isaac, who died when he was four. Saul began to shout at Jennifer for taking their son to America. He told her that he had not forgiven her, and she replied that she had not forgiven him either.
