Summary

As Chapter 46 begins, Joyce is telling readers that someone is in the spare bedroom she keeps for her daughter, Joanna, when she comes to visit. After telling details of a fight she had with Joanna on one of the stays, she reveals that her guest is Poppy's mother, Siobhan. She is busy taking care of funeral arrangements and other things.
