Summary
As Chapter 38 begins, the members of the Thursday Murder Club are meeting with Sue at Ibrahim's home. After a conversation, about people who plan and those who live without planning, Elizabeth reveals that she does not think that Martin Lomax had Douglas and Poppy killed. She thinks that Douglas has faked his own death and that he has told her where the diamonds are. She just has to figure out what he had said to do that. Sue thinks that the theory is plausible. After she leaves, Elizabeth suggests that they take a walk in the woods.
