Structure
In broad-strokes terms, the book is structured in two parts. The first is titled “Process,” and focuses on the different techniques Kobe Bryant used to develop and refine his game, keep his body in shape, and keep his goals in focus. He does this by offering explanations of why he prioritized certain actions, like making sure he worked out every day and making sure he could focus mentally. The second is titled “Craft,” and focuses on detailed breakdowns of Kobe’s different approaches. He does this by dissecting the different ways he shaped his game in relation to what he knew of the strengths in his teammates and the weaknesses in his opponents.
