Sunday, 3rd June: Chapters 50-54 and Monday, 4th June: Chapter 55 Summary

In Chapter 50, Dee and Machiavelli have taken Josh to Mars Ultor, the God of War. Mars agrees to awaken Josh's powers as long as Josh understands that this act is not a gift, that he will be expected to repay the act someday. Josh agrees. As Mars awakens Josh's powers he discovers such an amazing power in him that he decides to give him an additional gift.

In Chapter 51, Perenelle manages to capture and overpower Morrigan with Areop-Enap's help.

In Chapter 52, Sophie rushes into Mars' chamber to stop Josh's awakening, unaware that she is too late. Sophie has memories of Mars from the Witch of Endor and uses them to distract Mars. Mars asks Sophie to lift his curse, but Sophie refuses. As Flamel escapes...
