Sunday, 3rd June: Chapters 30-38 Summary

In Chapter 30, Sophie goes running at her brother's cries. She runs into Flamel but he is too exhausted to help. Joan comes to Sophie's aid and together they rush down to the front hall. They are greeted by two Disir. Joan engages in a sword fight and Sophie uses her magic to stop the two warriors.

In Chapter 31, Josh attacks Nidhogg in an attempt to get it to let Scathach go. Scathach tells Josh to cut off one of the claws, but slashing at the creature does nothing. When Josh stabs the creature in its tongue, the tongue immediately turns black. Nidhogg retreats out of the house, taking Scathach with it. Josh follows.

In Chapter 32, Machiavelli gets Dee out of the car just before Nidhogg comes into the alley and crushes it. They watch as...
