Saturday, 2nd June: Chapters 14-20 Summary
In Chapter 14, Flamel and Josh arrive at the Eiffel Tower first and are quickly joined by Scathach and Sophie. Flamel spots a man coming toward them and at first Josh thinks they are in trouble, but then Flamel tells him this person is a friend. The man introduces himself to Josh and Sophie as the Comte de Saint-Germain. Germain tries to convince Sophie and Josh he is now a famous musician but neither recognizes his name. When Flamel spots Machiavelli and several police officers, he asks Germain to create a distraction. Germain creates fireworks over the Eiffel Tower and on the tower itself.
In Chapter 15, Machiavelli becomes angry when he sees Germain, Scathach, and the twins escape through the crowd. Machiavelli sends his officers after Flamel, but feels safe allowing Germain and the others escape...
