Summary
In Chapter 25, Alphonse Tardif, the brother of Édouard Tardif who had shot at Abigail, talked willingly even though his lawyer warned him not to do so. He claimed his brother had not intended to hurt Abigail, that Édouard was an excellent marksman and would have hit her if he had wanted. He admitted to hiding the gun and firecrackers in the bathroom. Isabelle noticed Alphonse was shocked and angry after he saw the footage of the lecture as if he had been unaware of what had happened. He was charged with being an accessory to murder.
Meanwhile, Reine-Marie contacted Susan Horton, the daughter of Enid Horton, who had hired Reine-Marie to sort through her mother’s things.
