Summary
In Chapter 19, after the firework celebration, there was a commotion as the teenagers came running out of the woods toward the house.
In Chapter 20, Armand knelt by the woman's body that was face-down in the snow. There were dark marks of blood next to her head, indicating that she had died violently. Evidence was being lost as the falling snow piled up. Armand sent Jean-Guy inside to tell the others there had been an accident and that everyone needed to stay there. When Jean-Guy returned, he and Armand agreed the woman was probably Abigail. When the coroner arrived and indicated that the officers could turn the body over, they were shocked to see it was Debbie.
