Chapters 24 through 27 Summary
In Chapter Twenty-four, Laurel reminds Emma of plans the girls have to go to Mr. Pinky's, a nail salon. Emma gives Laurel the note she'd found in her pocket. Laurel says she has lots more from Thayer and that it's "no biggie." She doesn't seem at all upset. Emma and Sutton at the same time come up with the theory that Laurel is no longer upset with Sutton for coming between Laurel and Thayer because she's already gotten her revenge by killing Sutton.
In Chapter Twenty-five, Emma knows Laurel could have sent the message pretending to be Sutton and asking Emma to come to Tucson.
