Summary
In Chapter 8, Isa remembers arriving at the train station near Salten for the first time where she met Fatima. Fatima asked if they were from Salten, and Thea said they were actually pedophiles dressed as students. Then, she pologized for the ridiculous joke, and they introduced themselves. During the ride from the train to the school, Fatima said her parents were doctors and were volunteering their time in Pakistan. Isa said her mother had cancer and her father sent Isa and her brother to boarding schools to give them a stable environment. Isa and Fatima, as two new students, were assigned to be roommates.
