A Higher Power, Chapters 32-33 Summary

In Chapter 32, Estelle and Catfish go home together. Theo reels from the excitement, but he is also worried about his job and home. Molly and Theo connect and Molly promises to take her medication to quiet her narrator. Skinner the dog attacks Sheriff Burton and does not let go of his neck until Sheriff Burton stops the car and Theo handcuffs Sheriff Burton. Val and Gabe get out of the SWAT truck. Theo tells Val about Mavis' plan and tells her to keep quiet about her decision to take everyone off their antidepressants. Val, Gabe and Howard give Molly a ride back to town, while Theo deals with the reporters. Theo threatens Sheriff Burton to make him remain silent.
